The first half of El Clasico was absolutely breathtaking. Real Madrid came out of the blocks quickly, taking the lead in just the 5th minute after Kylian Mbappé converted a penalty. The French star struck again in the 14th minute, making it 2-0 and silencing the stadium. However, from that point on, Barcelona’s resistance grew. Garcia pulled one back in the 19th minute to make it 2-1. Boosted by that goal, the Catalans found the equalizer in the 32nd minute through young talent Lamine Yamal. Just two minutes later, Raphinha’s goal gave Barcelona the lead, and the Brazilian star struck once more in the 45th minute to send his team into halftime with a 4-2 advantage.

In the second half, Barcelona adopted a more cautious approach to protect their lead, while Real Madrid dominated possession and pushed to close the gap. Despite struggling at times defensively, Barça also created clear chances but couldn’t extend their lead. Real Madrid were eventually rewarded for their pressure in the 70th minute when Mbappé completed his hat-trick to make it 4-3. Both teams came close to scoring in the remaining minutes, but the match ended without any additional goals.
