Fiorentina appoint Pioli as head coach

Stefano Pioli has been officially announced as the new head coach of Fiorentina, returning for a second stint in charge of La Viola.
Pioli, who spent the 2024-25 season in the Saudi Pro League with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr, has signed a 3-year contract at Fiorentina.

Pioli is back in Florence for a second spell in charge of Fiorentina, following his two seasons in charge between 2017 and 2019.

EDIN DZEKO ALSO IN FIORENTINA
On the other hand, the Italian club announced on the previous day that they have signed Edin Dzeko, who left Fenerbahce.
"Dzeko has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2026, automatically renewable until June 30, 2027 if certain conditions are met," the Italian club said in a statement.
