After conceding, Manchester City increased their pressure and were awarded a penalty in the 36th minute. However, Omar Marmoush, who stepped up to take the penalty, failed to convert it into a goal, and the first half ended 1-0.
In the second half, Manchester City started more effectively with player substitutions and created several clear chances, but they failed to score.
As Crystal Palace slowly got back into the game, they also had a few chances, but no more goals were scored. Crystal Palace won 1-0 and secured the championship.
